Unique Homecare Services was established in 2016 with its Head Office based in Lancaster. Unique set out with the aim of providing a holistic model of care that focuses on diet, exercise and stimulation tailored to each client. Unique also supports the client’s family, recognising the importance of providing them with peace of mind that their loved one is being well-cared for.
The success of this holistic approach has resulted in Unique’s growth throughout Lancashire, Cumbria, North Yorkshire and most recently Skipton and the surrounding areas. Unique Skipton is dedicated to upholding the same ethos set out in 2016; to provide exceptional care throughout the community.
It is our goal to be recognised within the local community as the preferred care provider. To achieve this, we aim to deliverer safe, compassionate and personalised care plans to clients in need so they may continue to live in their home and enjoy life in the community. We strive to meet and surpass client expectations so they are delighted with the service they receive.
Our mission extends beyond the local community and into the care sector as a whole as we aim to change the face of care. We hope our holistic and personalised model of care will act as an exemplar and set the highest standard of care throughout the sector. We want to make a difference that will continue to benefit those who require care.
It is our belief that in order to provide exceptional care for our clients, it is necessary have an exceptional team of Carers. Our Health and Wellbeing Team are responsible for delivering quality care throughout the community. All team members receive thorough training, shadowing and mentoring throughout their 12-week induction programme with Unique. They also receive formal qualifications, ensuring they are confident and competent in delivering quality care.
